Splash, sigh, tre, tre, tre, tre, sighhhhh, sing the waves on the pebbly shingle.
Zzzhhhhhhhhzzzzzzz says the reel as the line is slung out into blue-green waters.
Chattering, the boys hunt for fossils.
Giggle-sploosh -- Mama and Noah in the warm, soft water.
Whisper, and sit under the sycamore at the old water's edge, and sniff the pure smell of summertime.
Sigh.
