We all need encouragement right now...Dear Natalie,

We all need encouragement right now, no matter how heavy our burdens are. Perhaps those with more challenges need more encouragement, I'm not sure. Finding joy and hope... that is my wish for all of us.

Best,
Quinn

(I also just left a blank comment... oops!)The Quintessential Clothes Penhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13291041428539466457noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18213663.post-70041489504243421272020-11-23T12:47:43.301-05:002020-11-23T12:47:43.301-05:00Dear Mrs. C.,

Yes, discomfort contributes to the urge to take it off, but unfortunately it has become a partisan symbol, akin to identifying someone's beliefs during the French Revolution -- cockades, sans culottes, and so on. Now we know a bit how people during the Terror felt, warily eying other people on the street.

Happy, happy summer to you, fresh air, if hot, and seas sparkly and greenery all over. It's sunny now, air damp here too, but chilblain chilly, the trees leafless, and my roses are valiantly blooming with freeze-whitened edges, before they go to sleep for the winter.

Hugs!

Natalie

ZipZiphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02086335016901683883noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18213663.post-53924387707815055472020-11-22T02:48:56.426-05:002020-11-22T02:48:56.426-05:00Thank you for putting this out there Natalie xo
Th...Thank you for putting this out there Natalie xo
This weekend I flew to a different city to do a show. We live here fairly normally, for now, but masks are required on planes. The plague hit NZ while we were going into winter and mask wearing was pretty ok. I have several made from fun fabrics. But now it is getting warm and humid, EEWWW, revolting. I wonder if the hot weather has contributed to the push back in the Northern Hemisphere on wearing them?
Hopefully, things will get better there. I am so glad you are safe xoxoMrsC (Maryanne)https://www.blogger.com/profile/14440723067459232998noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18213663.post-81992470946811223962020-11-21T18:57:45.768-05:002020-11-21T18:57:45.768-05:00Encouraging at the end, anyway...

It may be rather a stark view, but it's reality, and so many people have it tougher than I do.

Heaven bless and care for everyone,
NatalieZipZiphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02086335016901683883noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18213663.post-1387253561273366732020-11-21T08:36:39.895-05:002020-11-21T08:36:39.895-05:00An encouraging post:) Thank you for sharing!
